Welcome to the International Labor Communications Association!
Across the globe our members help workers raise their voices to power. Our members include labor communicators, members of the media and students who together have built the collaborative environment we sought to foster when we were founded in 1955. Labor communications have changed enormously since then and our organization is here to help our members build and win successful union organizing and contract campaigns, and support the media in their coverage. Join us and build your skills through our training programs, grow your communications community and work side-by-side with the best in labor communications.
A note from our leadership…
The Labor Movement is having a “Moment” in the media, but it must be long term sustainable change in order for working people to thrive. Together we must grow the conversation about unionism and ensure it never fades from our dinner table conversations. Out of the tragedies and worker safety atrocities of the COVID-19 Pandemic have come worker uprisings across the world. Labor communicators must build upon this and ensure workers voices are heard accurately, fairly and widely for decades if not centuries to come. ILCA members across the globe are fighting for just that and we’re here to help. We encourage you to join us for trainings, contact us with your questions and ideas and most of all tell us what you’re working on so we can spread the word.
