We know video is everything when it comes to communicating with workers. Angad and Andrianna will focus on how to create compelling content, but more importantly how to get the right eyes on it! Time of Day Media is a worker-owned UNIONized creative agency, whose work focuses on movement building.

Will Carey, Stitcher / Sirius XM

Podcasts are growing in popularity with all demographics and it's a platform the labor movement can explore more and grow its presence on. Will Carey, from the Content Operations team at Stitcher / Sirius XM will walk you through how to make compelling content that workers will tune in to, how to ensure your podcast reaches the right audience, and best practices for recording and placing it on listening platforms.

Young Workers Rising

Workers across the globe are organizing in new industries, and young workers and organizers are building the 21st century labor movement to demand respect at work. In our Young Workers Rising panel you'll hear from workers at Housing Works, REI and Starbucks on what drove them to organize. Moderated by RWDSU Organizer Jedidiah Labinjo (REI Lead) who came to the role after organizing his own workplace Zara.

Kalina Newman, AFL-CIO

Meeting workers where they are has never been more critical. TikTok has exploded in popularity, but many aren't sure how to use it as an organizing and communications tool Kalina Newman will cover that and more including a step-by-step look at how you edit videos in the platform and how to capture a user's attention in seven-seconds or less! She'll also cover how to spot trends and apply them to the labor movement.
